Erin Booth credits a career in human resources and years of theatre experience for building her passion for helping customers. She started in retail management before working in human resources, where she enjoyed recruiting employees and helping them feel welcome and valued.
Then, Erin was drawn to an opportunity to be receptionist at Landaas & Company, a place she considered more familial, where customer service mattered.
“I like being that point of contact – the first voice that people hear, the first face that they see. That can dictate how the rest of their day goes,” Erin says. “I like to relate to them and put them in a good mood.”
Her involvement in community theater since childhood – doing everything from performing to costumes and makeup and directing – has allowed Erin to be more gregarious, she says. Acting helped her develop the empathy that she says has been useful in relating to people and meeting their needs.
Erin grew up in northern Illinois, where she met her husband, Eric. They live in Kenosha County with their two daughters, dog and two cats.
Besides theater, Erin enjoys family nature walks and baking and gardening with her daughters.
