Alli Dubowski

For Alli Dubowski, Landaas & Company feels like family.

“Family businesses put extra value on relationships, and I think that’s very important, especially in a setting where you’re dealing with clients’ money and their retirement,” Alli says. “Putting the relationship first makes it less transactional and more caring.”

Part of the family feel at Landaas is personal for Alli. Her father, Dave Sandstrom, and brother, John Sandstrom, both work at the firm.

Alli is familiar with working at a family business. Even while she was employed at a clothing store throughout high school and college, Alli worked at the printing company her family had run for generations. In both settings, she learned to please customers.

As receptionist at Landaas & Company, Alli sees herself as “the happy person on the phone” who connects investment clients with peace of mind.

“It can be stressful to have questions while you are in the middle of planning for your future retirement,” Alli says. “So I help people get connected to the answers they need and reassure them that our team can help them get anything straightened out.”

Alli has a degree in advertising from Marquette University. She and her husband, Brian, live in Brookfield with their two daughters and a Westie named Fergus. Alli’s career includes more than five years in marketing at advertising agencies and  Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin. She also has done charitable work for literacy programs and the Lutheran Home.

Alli enjoys listening to free audiobooks at 1.5 times their normal speed. And although she married a chef, Alli is devoted to Domino’s pizza and Diet Coke.
